About TESCO – Tribal Electric Supply Company
TESCO (Tribal Electric Supply Company) was established to electrify the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), which merged with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018. TESCO serves the merged tribal districts: Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, FR Peshawar, FR Kohat, FR Bannu, FR Lakki Marwat, FR Tank, and FR Dera Ismail Khan. TESCO faces significant challenges including mountainous terrain, security constraints, and high line losses, while working to bring reliable electricity to historically underserved communities.
